SHIPPING, RETURNS AND POLICIES
We keep shipping fees reasonable, so you can spend your money on gifting, not shipping! (We know the frustration of trying to order a $25 item that costs $10 to ship!) Shipping, packing and handling fees are generally calculated as 10% of your order total. If you would like to ship to Canada or a foreign country, please contact us. It is dependent on each artist’s shipping policies, but we are happy to try to facilitate such orders if you are willing to pay the overseas shipping costs.
If you order multiple items in one order, please know that they may ship from different artists or vendors and not all arrive in the same package. Please contact us if you would prefer that we have the items ship to us so we can assemble and wrap them together, and then reship them to your recipient; however, this may incur additional shipping charges.
HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?
Items that are made to order can take a little while—often 2 to 3 weeks. (They’re extra-special so we think they’re well worth the wait!) The time you can expect your order to take is listed with each item. Items that we monogram, engrave or emboss are usually completed and shipped out to you within 4 business days. Please contact us if you have a special date you need your gift by, or if you would like to inquire about rush orders or expedited shipping. The cost for rush orders varies by artisan and vendor, so we can advise you on a case-by-case basis.
We are always happy to send your recipient a gift card announcing that their special gift is on its way; please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can also provide gift certificates if you would like to gift any item, such as a family tree or photo memory vase, and let the recipient choose what they would like it to say or look like.
Nearly all the items on our site are custom-made, created to your specifications, or personalized in some way with monograms, photographs, engraving or printing. Therefore, we cannot accept returns on any personalized items except in case of damage, defect or a mistake on our part.
It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that you DOUBLE-CHECK all text, monograms and information that you input for personalization. If you are submitting photographs or family tree information, please be sure to read those instructions carefully and do not hesitate to CONTACT US if you have any questions at all about how to submit information or about your order. The artists we work with are very receptive to working with you to make sure you get the product you envision. But please keep in mind they are small businesses and individual artists who cannot absorb the cost of remaking something if you change your mind or suddenly realize Aunt Sally spells her name Sallie.
We have chosen all our items and artisans carefully and expect you to be delighted with your order, but if you are not, or if there is any damage or defect that is our fault, please contact us immediately so we can correct or replace the item.
For items that are not personalized, we will accept returns within 30 days upon receipt of the item, provided the item is unused and in perfect condition. We will refund the amount of the item, minus shipping costs, to the credit card or Paypal account from which you paid your order.
Bespoke Custom Gifts accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal.
Many of the artists we work with can wrap or gift-box your order, and most can include a gift card or message, and not include pricing on receipts. (In cases where gift wrapping is not available, it will not be offered as an option on the checkout page.) Some gift boxes or wrap may differ from ours, but will be lovely and suitable for gift presentation. Gifts that we keep in stock and also that we monogram, engrave or emboss can be gift-wrapped for the very nominal fee of $3. Smaller gifts will be packaged in our lovely navy blue box with a double bow of periwinkle saddle-stitched ribbon and a hand-written gift card. Larger gifts will be wrapped in heavyweight navy paper and tied with wider blue saddle-stitched ribbon, and also include a hand-written gift card. We do not sell, trade or distribute any personal information to any third parties. The information we collect is used solely to process your order, or you may choose to save information for your convenience, such as account information for faster ordering or a gift registry where friends and family can purchase gifts for you. If you prefer that we do not store your account information, you are always welcome to check out as a guest. We send out occasional email notifications of sales, special items and gift ideas, if you opt in to our e-newsletter. You can opt out at any time by simply clicking the link at the bottom of the newsletter.
